I just bought a 2011 mercedes mp250a for 500 dollars. I was told it should only cost about 200 dollars to fix the wobble in the back tire. I paid 150 dollars to get it towed to a shop and get an estimate for repairs. I received a1300 plus bill and wanted to cry. Does anyone know of a site where I can find a front pulley, drive belt, swing arm bearings and collars,rear tire, mirror set, and a battery. This way I can order the parts myself a little at a time and then try to get it fixed. I bought this thing to ride my Grand kids but I want it safe. Please help. Attachments:

Now you know why he was selling it so cheap, he new what it would cost to have it fixed. But parts for it are dime a dozen and if you can do some wrenching you can fix it yourself or at least most of it. The important thing is which WHICH MOTOR IS ON THERE, Very easy to tell. Alleyoop #1  #2  |

If you're going by the dude's estimate for the parts you need I wouldn't order anything yet. If you can get us a video of the rear wheel while it's spinning we might be able to determine what you actually need.

She wants to get rid of it now, she put it in the parts section. I am sure she is not mechanically inclined and would have to pay for the work to be done even if she got the parts. And labor from a shop to do the work will be at least 300 bucks or more.

I know its late now but wouldn't it be nice to have new people ask first or at least read about scooters here before they jump on one new or used. So many out there just want a turn-key and that ain't necessarily so with chinese. In fact that ain't so with a jap machine either, both require a PDI, and you pay for it in the total price unless they bill it separately.

Yes your right, if going to buy used from someone, you need to test drive it and see if it runs good and starts good. Don't forget when you make an appointment to go and check out someones troubles they most likely already warmed it up so that when you get there it starts right up. It may be that once it gets cold it is a bear to start. A lot of sellers are getting rid of for a reason and it is not that it is taking up space and what not they lie trough their teeth(HAHA). If you have to bring someone along that knows a little about scoots or bikes to help check it over. If the person is selling it really cheap he or she already knows what is wrong and the cost of repairing it.

The first thing I do when i go check a new ride is to feel the motor to see if they started it before I got there.
