If you wish to use Photobucket you must first go to photobucket.com and sign up for a free account. Once you've signed up you'll see a HELP button to the right of your account name in the upper right hand corner of the page. Click on it and you'll see a tutorial on uploading and downloading images.
You must transfer your images from your camera to your computer to upload them. Go to your pictures create a folder for Photobucket. Plug your camera into your computer and open it from the start button and computer. Find the photos on your camera and right click copy and then paste into your Bucket folder. Follow the instructions on Photobucket to upload and then copy the direct link for that photo.
Go to the board you want to post on and click create thread at the top right. When you want to post your picture click the image icon images.proboards.com/v5/images/bbcode/image.png and paste the photo URL into the blank. Click insert image and it will be there when you post!

Recently the direct link embed function was added. What does this mean? Just like Rich mentioned when you hit the insert icon images.proboards.com/v5/images/bbcode/image.png in the menu bar the image/photo will instantly appear. But if you just want to post a link of your image or any image and then when you hit Create Post in the Normal Reply or Post Quick Reply in the Quick Reply window as soon as the post you made appears so will the photo you linked to. Unlike the insert image function you will not see the photo until you complete your post. JR
