I have a squeeking noise coming from the front wheel only when i roll it backwards never front. Not sure why that is any ideas? Sounds like the brakes are grabbing but only one way not the other? Im lost. Has a beer while i wait for help. Thanks all.

Could just be the Speedo cable gear inside the hub making the noise since it only happens going backwards. Alleyoop

I'd be giving the brakes the long look,,, and I also think its time to get the front end up in the air to get the load off of it and find out what's wrong,,, there is something wrong,,, the wheel should never lockup under any circumstances rolling forward or backwards

It's easy enough to pull two bolts to slide off the caliper. Thats going to eliminate the front brake.

That will give you a chance to inspect the pads for odd wear patterns,,, I'd still get it in the air to make sure you don't have a bearing going away

Remove the caliper after you source a rebuild kit ,, pull the piston hone the bore install new seals on piston and install and bleed air from system,,, or the way chinese scooter parts are you probably can get a new caliper for little more money than a rebuild kit
