I bought a BV350 the book calls for "eni i-Ride scooter 15W-50" and "AGIP GEAR SAE 80W-90 " This scooter has a wet clutch, is using synthetic a bad idea for the 80w90 and mobil 1 15w50 full syn in place of eni going to pose any problems?
Thanks in Advance John

When I was running my Vespa they called out the eni synth right out of the box,,,as a matter of fact they have virtually no break in,,,with the super fine plataue hone on the ceramic cylinder,,,the only problem I see with using agip oils is your a$$ hurts when you leave the counter,,,$14 per quart,,,there's no reason to not run an equivalent weight in another brand,,,and also I run full synth in my wet clutch bikes and I've never had a hint of slip,,and I'm not easy on them either,,,I don't beat my machines but I'm never second off a lite,,,and the occasional wheelie is not out of the question,,,,I'm a huge fan of synth oils and did back to back runs and took temps before and after runs and saw significantly lower temps after the change,,,I'm sold

One caveat tho with the synth use,,, more than one of my engines very slowly weep oil,,, now I don't let my machines get dirty,,, I inspect them at least 2-3 times a week and they are always covered ,,,I hit them with a spray bottle with simple green and wipe down the "creep" as I call it,, only happens on cam covers for me and it's the equivalent of maybe a drop of oil a week but it spreads and collects dirt so it looks like hell but it wipes up easy and barely makes the rag dirty
