What color are the wires on the plug that may help identify them. You will know if everything works then it is just a spare plug for some other option. Alleyoop

Ok this is odd the wires are green and black/white. Which isnt that normally the kill switch wire....I went up and checked my ignition wires and there's a black and blue instead of black n white.. oh and the mystery plug is a two pin female plug.

Is there anything else you can plug up that would run off the black/white wire...other than the kill switch?

I can't think of anything but the Killswitch using the Black/White wire and the green right next to it to ground it out.

Have you a ground wire from the motor to the frame? Check the killswitch, check the pickup coil for at least .25vac or little higher. Alleyoop

How did it get out of time? I keep telling you guys BEFORE you go and take the head off, chain and cam. You need to bring it up to TDC align the CAM SPROCKET mark the chain and tooth on the cam and mark where the timing mark is pointing on the FLYWHEEL.
You can then take the whole motor apart but putting it back together all you do is line up the marks you made and it will be right on with the timing.
