Hi all, I have a peugeot v clic (50cc GY6) which is spending far too much time laid up in the garage.
The input shaft oil seal behind the clutch keeps popping out. I have changed the seal 3 times now. I`ll do around 50km then the familiar grinding noise followed by oil coming out of the CVT case happens. The shaft has no movement in it so it seems there is either air pressure coming from the gearbox or the shaft is getting thinner, which I can see any signs of. Last time I used some bearing seal glue which lasted me an extra 50 km but sure enough it popped out again. I am about to take the gear box apart which I am dreading and wondered if anyone had any other ideas whats causing this before I do?
