NEWBEE !Need help before I set My Lancer 150 cc Chinese on fire...2016 Model with 500 miles ..Ran like a Rolex till now. Hadn't run it for 2 months. Used Sta-Bil additive. Scoot starts ,BUT will not continue to run after 1 minute. Since it was starving for fuel I replaced Fuel filter, Fuel petcock vacuum diagram, clean gas, and new NGK plug and new CDI. Tried running it with out the gas cap. Yes gas is flowing past the Fuel petcock ! Still the same ! Took carb. off and clean as a whistle . Still the same. So ordered a new carb. with a new electric choke. Still the same. Yes I know it's time to
find the Air vacuum leak! Took the intake manifold off and spacer gasket and O Ring looked great with no cracks in the manifold. Checked all the stupid vacuum hoses 10 times. THEY are perfect. Tried by passing the check valve & canister..After all this happy H.S. it still will not continue to run..The only thing that hasn't been replaced is the check valve & canister only cause I couldn't find them on line. I have worked on bikes for years but this issue has me nuts. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated more than you know. Rich in Pigeon Forge Tn Thanks Scooter Doc. <>[/b]

Have you tried spraying starter fluid into the carburetor at the one minute mark? It doesn't sound right that it cuts out at one minute after all you've done. Maybe a bad ignition coil?

Valves need to be adjusted for one,,one of the valves is hanging open after it gets warm and compression is dropping,,

Thanks guys think you have a great idea about the valves needed adjusting ...I'll have to figure that one out !
