I bought this scooter a year & half ago. It was too big for me..I was too weak & scared to ride it. After sitting I just replaced the gas, plug, gear oil, took carb out & cleaned it, put new battery in. I inhaled the air hose to get fuel to bowl & it started right up..then it died & wouldn't start. Now it refuses to start. It ran real smooth when it started..no chugging..white smoke from exhaust. I tried turning the screw 1 & 1/4 out..no luck..just tries but won't kick in. Checked the plug..have spark. Checked the fuel hose..fuel comes out when blowing on air hose. I don't have the tools to do a compression test. Is that my last option? I'm lost. I've been all over the net trying to find solutions since it ran before I took the carb out & cleaned it. The previous plug had a huge gap & mine is to spec. Do I need to regap it? Also, I can get it to kick start & it did before. Okay..nevermind..after seeing a hose picture I realized I put my air hose on the wrong nipple..it wasn't suppose to be on the one next to the black autochoke cover but the one that was exposed & that kept bothering me..that's why it would only run for a very short time..now to get the shrink tubing & fix that oil cap leak
