I've got mine set up so I can just reach underneath the front and dis-connect/re-connect the front light whenever I want lol! I don't need no stinkin' switch

Yes I can reach also. But someday you will break that connector. Some sort of swich would be better. Hmm.. I guess when you once disconnect it. You don't often reconnect it again. Good spare bulb

By the way. I did that air scoop to the bellypan with dremel. It did not help at all. Fan was on just as much as without scoop. I guess I will close that scoop to keep my engine cleaner.

Damn! I guess I have to face the truth. Today I tried to connect that low amp fan directly to battery and stared engine with HIDs on. Not enough charging power I guess I just have to do the modification so that one HID is burning at the LOW light and both when using HI light. I guess I need one more relay for that. Edit: I just tested that by disconnecting another ballast wire connection. With just one HID on and fan on I got 13.33v when idling. And when I rev up to 4000rpm I got 14.70v. That is the best solution. Next question is which one let to burn when driving using LOW light?Hi Jalat. Which light to use for low beam depends on which side of the road you drive on. In the USA we drive on the right so I use the right light for low beam which lights the shoulder of the road better. Thanks for letting us know about the belly pan scoop mod results. Increasing the size of the cooling system might be the only other way to decrease the cooling fan cycling.

hi sorry but i'm new at the forum, i have a problem with my scooter , i have a JCL MP150-c, the engine is a 157QMJ , i got it from ebay here is the link (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220759481512&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_16083wt_1139) , my problem is that the voltage on the light circuit (AC) is only 8 -9 volts so my light are very dim, i change most of the scoot light to led trying to low the power consumption, but i have no change . any body can give and advise what can be the problem because for what i gest maybe can be the rectifier or the generator coil? , thank for your time guys.

First check all the ground wires that they have good connection. Grounding is often the reason for low volts in certain circuit.

I had the same low voltage to my lights and they flickered bright and dim according to the RPM's. I also couldn't get the scooter to show anything but a discharge.
I replaced my Blocking Diode with a 5 pin relay, as discussed in a few threads on this forum. This fixed my headlight problem and I'm now showing a charging condition. Not enough, but I'm working on that as well.

That's a good question, Jalat. We hear about the problem children but if anyone is not having a problem, we won't know about it. How about it guys? Anyone scootin' their CfMoto clones with no charge problems?
It seems that the stators and R/R's on our clones are inferior to the Honda originals which can put out about 18 to 20 amps or about 240 watts. We are struggling to get 60% of that value. The OMP replacement R/R seems to help out somewhat, but the stator is still weak.

Ah.. was going to reply and ask why you would jeopardize your 2 year warranty with CFMOTO when I see that you are referring to a CFMOTO CLONE engine in a Jonway scooter.
