2011 atm50-a1 with 100Km idle goes up and down and when I slow down it wants to die and I have to feather the throttle to get the rpm's back up to get moving again. Haven't had an issue til the other day....not sure what is happening. Any advice or help would be awesome!!
Thanks,

Welcome to the forum.
When the idle starts oscillating it usually means you developed a vacuum leak. Sometimes it can mean your A/F screw needs adjustment but that generally won't happen from one day to the next. You'll need to check all of your vacuum lines, intake manifold, and make sure nothing came loose on the airbox side too. Here's a pic of some of a generic scooters lines, remember, scooters vary widely:
This shot is from one of our own Alleyoop's bikes, it has a manual choke so don't let that throw you:
Check the lines for cracks or connectors that may have come loose. Inspect the intake manifold for any obvious defects and check the bolts for tightness. If nothing obvious shows up get back to us, there's some tests you can run. Rich

I checked all of my vacuum lines and they seem to be ok. Here are some pics. There is a hose that comes of the cyl. head that has a piece of cloth zip-tied to the other end of it (pic 4)also there is a line comming off of the vacuum (regulator?/pic 2) that runs down the frame and has an inline (filter?/pic 3) of sorts that just hangs down....don't see anywhere for it to hook up.

to find a vacuum leak you can take a can of spray...carb cleaner, ether, wd40, just about any thing that sprays a fine mist (except paint!) and spray it all around the vacuum lines intake manifold and carb while the engine is running. if the spray changes the rpm's up or down you found the leak. john

If the IDLE is bounceing it is running LEAN. If NO LEAKS then Richen Up your FUEL RATIO MIXTURE Screw. Turning it Counter Clockwise Richens the Mixture. As it is IDLEING turn it 1/4 Counter Clockwise at a time and wait 10-15 seconds in between each 1/4 turn to let the motor catch up with the new setting and see if it settles down.
I use Water in a Spray Bottle to find leaks, It dries up right away and does not leave any film. Alleyoop

I don't see a vacuum hose going to the Air Cut-off valve in the top photo... your scooter perhaps doesn't have one...
I would put the standard air box back on...those air filters suck... and they need to be oiled or you are running SUPER lean...

I couldn't find any vacuum leaks. When I drove it just now it seems to run ok.... not great, but when i slow down the idle drops and I have to lightly feather the gas for it to start to move again. I don't have the original air box, the guy I bought from put the aftermarket filter on there as a "bonus".... big bonus...lol

No mixture screw, just a brass plug. the only adjustment I found was the stop plate screw. Now I'm really confused...

BUMMER on the Plugged Fuel Ratio Screw. If it is just a CAP on the screw you can take the cap off and the screw is behind it. You would need to take a 1/16 drill and drill it in the center a little bit not DEEP just to make a little hold then take a small screw and screw it into the little hole and pull it out. IT could also be a PLUG in which case NO SCREW is behind it, but most are just a CAP over the Screw so you don't mess with it.
As a matter of fact A woman on here Drilled her Cap over the Fuel Ratio Screw. She goes by the name of Straighbangin and she even took a picture of the plug after she took it out. You can Check out one of her Threads and read how she did it.
Also a lot of the folks just get the same CARB but with the Fuel Ratio Screw available for about $30.00 bucks.
But you are running LEAN with that filter so the only other thing you can DO is Start Covering Part of the Air Filter from the TIP with Duct Tape to take some air away. Do do 1 inch at a time until you find the right amount of air to fuel mixture. Alleyoop

Here is a crappy picture of my carb. where your pic shows a sloted screw for the adjuster, mine is flat with no way to turn it. It's like it's a plug? Attachments:
