That's awfully thin, will it work for both intake and exhaust? hought intake should be .003 and exhaust .004?

The standard valve gaps on a 150cc GY6 are .004" intake and .005" exhaust...

I use it cut from the can for the intake and set it a bit loose... then double the aluminum over and set it tight for the exhaust... no big deal

I, I already did the chokes cleaner in air intake, didn't make a difference, so the engine isn't timed right. I will start I over

Try taking your intake manifold off and putting a little gas in the hole. Just a little! to see if she tries to fire. Just an easier test to attempt before pulling engine apart.

Totally did that, no luck, timing must be off, try again this weekend.

It's still a timing issue, compression test 180 psi, good spark, , need to reset timing

Ok here is a DETAILED VIDEO on how to correctly time a GY6 motor. It is in spanish but you can see what he is doing and how he is setting the Flywheel on the "T" and the Piston is at its very top and then he installs the Cam with the CAME LOBES DOWN and puts on the cam and aligns the cam Sprocket holes with the top edge of the head. Also the Valve head is marked EX for exhaust which goes down and the Intake side goes up and it may not have a mark or an I for intake.

Ok, I've tried that exact procedure, with the wrong results. The engine rotates forward out of the tdc position for the poison being at top of it's cycle, which means it is always off a bit, should I jam something in stator fan, do it doesn't move around while I set cam & chain?

yea you can just be careful not to damage the stator and pickup

BC...it is not a magnet it is a Hall effect sensor... a transducer

The magnet is in the flywheel...
