I indeed may have banned you on Rebels a couple years ago when the war between me and JR had been in full swing. As I recall you had told me that you allowed him access to your accounts both email and the forum account on rebels. There were a lot of things posted and emailed that you later told me were sent by JR. Those posts and emails got the response of banning the membership. I would be happy to remove that if you should want it to be. (in fact I hope I can still find it, the new V5 is a real pain, wish I had not "upgraded")

You had created a couple screen names and posted on rebels after that, neither of those screen names were every banned, I think you lost ones password and then created the second. An apology was posted to me and I read it, then edited it because I felt that it was addressed to me and there was no need for it to be there for all to see, it seemed like a private apology. I was still unsure about things at that point and did not know the complete story, I still had an amount of inner rage when it came to a hand full of people that I was having trouble with. As I am sure you are aware all stories have a minimum of two sides.

You also put some nice information about upgrading your stator on the forum, thanks for that.

At this time in my life I have no desire to continue to carry a grudge or ill feelings toward anybody on any of the forums. It is very obvious that people find where they are comfortable, where they seem to fit and that is where they should be.

I think these threads speak for themselves. The reason I now post only on Doc about Indian, CF Moto or Victory is the flack I get over there is pretty thick.

Don't bother looking at either thread on Jack's forum. He's doctored them and deleted all his banter. He changed them to look like a benevolent admin with a sense of humor.

The Scorpion and the Frog

One day, a scorpion looked around at the mountain where he lived and decided that he wanted a change. So he set out on a journey through the forests and hills. He climbed over rocks and under vines and kept going until he reached a river.
The river was wide and swift, and the scorpion stopped to reconsider the situation. He couldn't see any way across. So he ran upriver and then checked downriver, all the while thinking that he might have to turn back.

Suddenly, he saw a frog sitting in the rushes by the bank of the stream on the other side of the river. He decided to ask the frog for help getting across the stream.

"Hellooo Mr. Frog!" called the scorpion across the water, "Would you be so kind as to give me a ride on your back across the river?"

"Well now, Mr. Scorpion! How do I know that if I try to help you, you wont try to kill me?" asked the frog hesitantly.

"Because," the scorpion replied, "If I try to kill you, then I would die too, for you see I cannot swim!"

Now this seemed to make sense to the frog. But he asked. "What about when I get close to the bank? You could still try to kill me and get back to the shore!"

"This is true," agreed the scorpion, "But then I wouldn't be able to get to the other side of the river!"

"Alright then...how do I know you wont just wait till we get to the other side and THEN kill me?" said the frog.

"Ahh...," crooned the scorpion, "Because you see, once you've taken me to the other side of this river, I will be so grateful for your help, that it would hardly be fair to reward you with death, now would it?!"

So the frog agreed to take the scorpion across the river. He swam over to the bank and settled himself near the mud to pick up his passenger. The scorpion crawled onto the frog's back, his sharp claws prickling into the frog's soft hide, and the frog slid into the river. The muddy water swirled around them, but the frog stayed near the surface so the scorpion would not drown. He kicked strongly through the first half of the stream, his flippers paddling wildly against the current.

Halfway across the river, the frog suddenly felt a sharp sting in his back and, out of the corner of his eye, saw the scorpion remove his stinger from the frog's back. A deadening numbness began to creep into his limbs.

"You fool!" croaked the frog, "Now we shall both die! Why on earth did you do that?"

The scorpion shrugged, and did a little jig on the drownings frog's back.

"I could not help myself. It is my nature."

Then they both sank into the muddy waters of the swiftly flowing river.

The number of employees will probably increase even more when Indian sales take off. The Thunder Stroke 111 is a gorgeous looking motor and you have to give it to Polaris for creating a modern power plant with a classic look in just two years.

Yep, that's when it happened, I didn't blame you one bit (see below). I wasn't going to bring this up but since you opened the door I think it needs to be said. There was indeed a war waged by JR against Rebel and many members of Scoot Dawg. You were at the top of the list Doug but I could never get a cogent answer from him as to why. The fact that you were able to put aside what happened and actually work with the guy to start a new forum is beyond comprehension to me. You have some cojones there pal, putting the past aside is not easy.

Amazingly enough I believed his BS story about how he wanted to go into Rebel and clean up his posts. He had "harassed you enough" he pontificated!. My wife is still mad at me about that one....rightly so. Instead of cleaning anything up he went into Rebel and raised hell with my account. Then when my account got banned he called up and acted like you were the big weinie Doug. I am so sorry I let that happen, I can't express it; no, I don't blame you for banning me one bit. Tell you what, I take back the comments about you being a devil!

It was kinda both, I wanted to apologize to you and to any members of your forum I had offended either by my actions or JR's. I was drinking at the computer late into the night on weekends back then.....a dangerous activity I assure you. I'm still trying to pay off that Magic Thigh Slimmer from Hammer Schlammer!!!! Agreed, I will endeavor to let the past be the past and put away the malice. Having said that I think it's foolish to think that a person that's done outrageous things to me in the past and has taken megalomania to new levels should be trusted....ever. There's a few people in this world on my watch roster and JR is on it. I can hear him sneering from here. Actually John you're right, this thread has about played out. It has veered off course from the original post by Lukester and it has turned into a missive mainly about JR. However, I thought these things needed to be said in light of the new forum and how the history of the forums will affect the future. I also have wanted to clarify some things that happened in the past and now that's done. So if y'all have anything more to say do it because I'm going to lock this puppy Tuesday.

This will be my last stab at this. Today JR posted an article about how wicked Polaris is to shut down the Osceola, Wis. plant. I responded and this is what he said. Of course he seems to have locked the thread so I couldn't let him have it. When he lurks here he will see that even the mighty JR can't foil me.

Now someone called me a copy and paste person, and you know the wonder of the forward button on those emails you sent and mentioned? Would you still back that statement of no offense? You are a very shallow and weak person KZ. You go to one place and talk about the bad old dirty Harley owners and then mention you don't like the flack over here about it. Flack is what you like to give and when you continuously bad mouth anything you then get a difference of opinion and giving one a dose of their own medicine. Seems you can dish it out but can't take it very well, maybe it's the company you keep?

I also remember you singing high praises of the linhai when you were just a plain old Chinese scooter owner and how one could go anywhere on it, even told others at the despised old dawg about it. Now that you've got the used Craigslist Fashion that you've already tore down and fixed you don't like being told it's a cheap Chinese scooter as well, you want to be in high cotton but don't ever want to shell out the bucks to be there.


Lastly you want to now come here and dispute a claim here and act like you say nothing elsewhere, we in the south call it talking out of both sides of your mouth and want to jump on the band wagon with others who want to bash Doug and I because we made peace and are getting along. You jumped on a thread of someone who was banned and went whining to another forum about it and didn't even consider the rules he broke or what he did, you got out your barrel of tar and pillow of feathers and the lynching was on. You must be proud of yourself one that has the power to pass judgment on others while supporting one who can't abide by common decency rules.

No maybe JR didn't read that far or maybe since he was in his own Fairyland he didn't want anyone to see how he resorted to aliases to come here and "Stir the Pot". Doug, at least came here undisguised which is what separates them. JR always has an agenda, Doug is honest about his intentions.

And if the overblown newbie to two wheels has something to say to me let him come here and do it-as JR-I'm more than ready.
