i think now all you need to do is source an exhaust and then check the throttle housing to see if there is a small nylon disc in there that acts as a stop on some restricted machines,,,so it prevents full roll on throttle Well, according to the chart in the link, most of the restrictions are in the trans, so i figure that's where to start, just wanna make sure i'm not buying junk or buying from a rip off artist. Or buying something that won't do what i need.

Yep, WikiSpree has pictures of the two of them. It looks like the kit comes with a standard one, solving that problem. In fact that's part of the reason i like that kit, it has the ramp, clutch, spring, and rollers, all of which i expect to need.

Ok, working on my were's 87 SE50P. This thing is surprisingly hard to find parts for, while it is a one year model, its mechanically an Aero, so you'd think it wouldn't be so hard. That said, this thing is slow, really slow, 25 at best. Of course the P designation means it was a speed limited moped, so aside from the fact that one would think that in 30 years someone would've derestricted it by now, i figure the transmission is the best place to start since that was typically where they restricted it. I'm thinking of ordering this kit , its overkill right now, but if we decide to hot rod it, it'll save a step later. Anyone have any experience with the seller, or know of a US source for the same or similar? Will it work with a stock 50cc 2T? Also what should i do for a belt, just a regular Mitsuboshi (giggles, gotta love Chinese knock off names), or go with the Battlescooter built/something similar? Other repair and upgrades are obvious, clean or replace the air filter, change the plug, clean the carb, measure the jet (unresticted is #85, should i upgrade?). Is there anything else i should consider to unleash its potential? I see the occasional performance coil and performance CDI, but would there be a point to either of those? Donkey... I mean danke.
