This is be kind to animals month....... LOL's ;D CC, With the heat in the high 90's, you can really tell when there is something dead in the area. I have been seeing more bloated raccoons going back and forth to work than anything else. I'm going to be headed out your way at the end of the month to see my Mother and I hope that there aren't too many dead deer on the Pa. Turnpike. ? Why did they stop picking up the dead animals off the highways?

Now go outside tomorrow and look around the yard and look closely to the ground and see if there are little dug up holes about 1-2 inches deep. The little critters that you are talking about live on grubs and worms that are in the grass roots. If you get rid of them, you'll get rid of the skunks. The story I remember is, our neighbor across the street was named Sam. They also named a cat after him, Little Sam. Now big Sam worked the evening shift and returned home around 11:30 in the evening and every evening big Sam would kick little Sam out from the door way to get into the house. Yep, you guessed it. Little Sam turned into, " Sammy Stinker, " and Big Sam kicked Sammy Stinker in the butt. Not only did Sammy stinker let go in the doorway but he turned and went into the house. Hot Damn! Big Sam had a pretty large family, 3 girls and 2 boys. They all woke up to the stink and the girls screaming and Big Sam chasing Sammy Stinker around the house. The home had a staircase to the second floor and all the kids were watching Big Sam chasing Sammy stinker around the living room with the broom. The oldest boy, ducky, said to his dad, Wait, I've got an idea. He went to the kitchen and dumped the garbage out of the can and went into the living room and put it over Sammy Stinker. He then went to the garage and got a shovel and slid it under the waste can and took off out the door with Sammy Stinker. ducky freed the skunk without getting sprayed. ( They think he had already used everything he had and couldn't spray anymore.)

Everyday that I ride my scoot I ride about a 5 mile stretch on I-74 and have no problem keeping up with the traffic.

Ginny, I saw these at Big-R the other day and I almost bought them. Now I'm thinking that a waste basket liner would fit perfect. I didn't buy because they didn't have a price tag.

Hum!!! Where do I start........? 1. Beautiful Women, I can watch them all day long. 2. Fishing, Yep, I like to catch Big Bream, Crappie, Walleye, and The Big Cats out of the river. I also enjoy wading the creeks with a bucket of minnows and catch Smallies, Channel Catfish. Now Bass Fishing I used to do a lot of, an I did practice catch and release but, then I figured. Why catch it if you can't eat it. LOL's That's when I went to panfishing.
3. Hunting, Turkey, Deer, Nut Eaters, Wabbits, 4. Got to mention, Scootin down the road. I really enjoy ridding in the evening with the sun setting and feeling the evening temperature drop a few degrees. Ah! What a feeling.

Just a thought. Try your local machine shop and see if they have the screws. I'm going to check mine next week. The clips, try Nappa, Autozone, or any carparts store. Ace did have the speed clips and I bought a few.

I've had my footrests off so many times that when I go to screw the plates back on, the screw holes are stripped which make the screws loose. Any ideas on how to fill the holes with some material that I can fill and drill ?

OK Bashan, I'll try not ride with the throddle wide open anymore. What I'm going to do is, White tape on throddle meets White tape on bar--60 mph. White tape on throddle meets green tape on bar-- 65 mph. White tape meets yellow tape on bar---- Slow it down, you're going too damn fast. These scooter speed-o-meeters aren't rite anyway....
You can do WOT, I do all the time. You just have to back off the little guy once in a while and let it settle down a bit. rerugulate the vacuum and let the oil settle down. Bashan

Luke , I normally run about 60-65 mph in a 60 mph speed zone to work but when I get on the free way I'm booking it and there isn't much throttle left. The other day when the needle stuck, I just tried opening the throttle to see how much twist it would take to get there. I found out, not very far....... No, I don't recommend WOT anytime but I just needed to know. Curiosity killed the Cat. John , I totally agree with you for I have them all. Still weed whacker, Still Farm Boss and a Yamaha 25 hp outboard motor. Wacko weeds, cut firewood, and GONE FISHING.

Got to tell ya, the weather here in west central Indiana has been great for scoot riden. The temp. has been in the low 90's and the wind hasn't been a problem. On the way to work Tuesday, I had the old problem return, the needle sticking in the carb. Now I've got to tell you that I did have the throddle wide open at one point on I-74 and I actually new I was in trouble. ::)Yep, Pulled up to a 4-way stop, gave the bad boy some throddle and he bogged like he was flooding out. Pulled over to the side, raised the seat, unscrewed the batt. cover, tapped a few times on top of the gold cover of the carb. and he was good as new. Lessoned learned, (don't open throddle while ridding.) Since the weather has been coperating, I now have 7,527 miles on my Roketa MC-250-B and it is getting 64.7 miles per gal at an average of 60- 65 mph. ;D
