Found it! The mixture screw was completely missing. Does anyone have a guide on adjusting the mixture?

Area around the Carb: [/quote] Also, my petcock line goes to where this brass t is in the picture, the line then goes to the intake elbow and the other side goes to the side of the intake. Is this correct?

I never took the fuel ratio screw out, should I still mess around with it?
I will double check the pet cock lines in a bit. But I did throw on a petcock from another scooter, seemed like the same thing happened, may even have been a bit worst due to the petcock being older.

Hummm...pull off the air filter and see if it will run...just leave the intake to the carb open to air... If it does the same thing it may be the diaphragm in the top of the carb...When you took the carb apart did you make certain that the diaphragm was put back correctly. There is a notch it sits in... Pop off the top of the carb and have a look... After that I would by a new carb for $30... I did the thing with the air filter, does the exact same thing as without. When I rebuilt the diaphragm, I made sure to put the diaphragm back in the same spot.

I know .. but does it spark.. after the engine quits?. I'm trying to see if you have a flooding fuel problem or an electrical situation... Ive taken it out, and checked for spark, the plug still sparks.

I have this scooter I picked up from a friends, was siting outside for a while. I replaced a bunch of lines that were cracked, and put a used but charged battery in it. It starts up and then dies maybe 5 seconds later.
Replaced the fuel, fuel filter, lines, checked for vac leaks, replaced the cdi, coil, and battery.
I cleaned the carb, still does the same thing.
When I start it up and give it more throttle it shuts off completely.
What do you think it could be ?
GY6 engine, 150 cc
