Great post!!! "Most accidents happen within 5 miles from your home" Another well known statistic Well, on average most people only drive about 5 miles from home what would you expect? I think I'll buy an Airplane, or Train statistically those are the safest forms of transportation .

Will there be a 2011 Streetmate? That A55 engine is sweet!! Easy to upgrade and work on. Does the velo have the same engine or is it 4 stroke? 4t A55? Tomos is the last true Moped.

With the colder weather my scoot has developed a squeak in the front wheel. I would expect a noise to come from the disk brake side: Brake pads rubbing or whatnot but, What could produce a squeak on the other side? At low or no speed a squeaking noise comes from the speedo cable side, the right side of the axel. At speed, in cold weather, it sounds like something is rubbing. after it warms up no sound. Bearings? Bad Puck? Any ideas? TIA

I have gotten into the practice of just hitting the blinker rest button randomly to make sure it's not on but, I'd still like a louder TickTock,TickTock,TickTock. Is this possible?

I always seem to forget my blinker is on until the next turn. This may be a safety issue if the cage behind thinks I'm gonna turn and, I go the other way. Is there a plug and play flasher that is louder than stock for a 50cc Chinese scoot? Anyway to mod the Stock flasher To be louder? It's easier to remember at night when I can see the dash light blink but, during the day I seem to forget until I slow down and hear the flasher click. The little old lady driving down the road to slow with the blinker on is annoying enough, I don't wanna contribute to the problem

Thanks Speedracer!!! How did you setup/install the magnets for optimal performance? (Pics?) I have a left turn that's made me late for work more than once! I would rather buy something that works instead of paying a ticket. (Green Light Trigger = waste of money IMHO)

Congrats Sweet scoot!!!! I love the green! Mine looks the same except silver not green!!! Enjoy the ride and be safe ;D kz1000 is right, mine got stronger with age. I put an uni filter and upjetted and can pull 30-35 up hill. Wait till at least 500 miles before modding Just my 2 cents

I just put a new Uni style filter on my scoot. Seems I striped a couple screws on the float bowl trying to rejet. Anyway, finally got screws and rejettted from a 75 To 88(easier than I expected). The scoot seems to love more gas but, Did I go to rich? Should the exhaust be opened up too?

My camera was stolen before I could take pics of the scoot I just found one on scrappydogs for $29.95 under the "common parts" My scoot looks identical to the on in the pic. Has anyone got this windshield? Good/Bad? Can I make my own?

I'm trying to stay as warm as possible thru the winter months. A windshield looks like it would help but, The 85$ after market price tag seems unreasonable on a Chinese scoot. Does anyone know how to make or, where to buy a decent windshield for a scoot? [My headlight is between the handlebars] Thanks for any help!!
