I am betting that the chain is being put on wrong with the SLACK on the bottom and tight on top OR another possibility is the chain is on the wrong Sprocket on the crank. The outside Sprocket on the cranks are usually smaller, the chain goes on the bigger sprocket next to the bearing. Alleyoop
