JV, you are absolutely just one of a kind. Things wouldn't be the same around here without you.

i saw l20 one time,,,and mid hundred teens several times,,ridin in that, when you put water on yourself it feels like you're getting burned,,weird,,,it's called paradoxical cold,,,strange occurance ,,,kinda freaks you out the first couple times it happens,,,and on a different tack to the thread,,,one of the main reasons i run synthetic,,there was a markedly lower temp the first time i used it,,,

I did a unscientific study using a synthetic and it did run cooler. The argument is that the molecules are so slippery that they slip past the seals on a GY6. I've never found that to be true and from what I've read it's the size of the molecule that matters and synthetic oil molecules are hydrocarbons just like dino oil. So I find that to be a specious argument.

Bashan your old picture of eeky gets more points in my opinion. Nice corny pic of riding a scooter with a soup bowl helmet.

I did find a lttle weepage by some seals but nothing to cry about,,,when i was running it in my hotrod sporty the batte cry from harley inc was "BEARING SKATE",,,and "it'll put flat spots on the roller lifters " the biggest load of sh!t on the planet,,,harley just had a huge supply of dino oil to get rid of,,,then it was synth is great and they recommended it,,,my counter to that was if the oil is that slippery to not let a roller turn there wouldn't be enough friction to create a flatspot ,,as far as airconditioning goes they are on 24-7 right now,,,,,,they're roasting,,,and that be normal ,,the summers in az new mex and southern ca are hot,,,,geez when the conditions are just right i've tooled down the pacific coast highway in january with the top down in the mercedes shorts and tee temps in the low 90's ,,,i'll try to get some mid summer actual mid day road temps and report them ,,,i'm sure i'll be telling of 160-170 easy,,,,and yes luke i'll use a snap-on temp tester so it'll be accurate + or- 10th of a degree
