The Fashion is a 2009 that I picked up two years ago with 1900 miles on it.
John. If Luke was actually using his scooter then I wouldn't have a leg to stand on about his claims of Chinese inferiority. He doesn't. He brags about having 28,000 trouble free miles on it. He doesn't. He's put 21,000 miles on it over the same span of time that I've put 20,000 miles on my "Inferior" Chinese fleet,...and about 4,000 miles on other bikes in that time. Luke bought it used with 7,000 already. By his own admission he services his clutch and variator periodically to avoid trouble.
Yet he blathers on about how reliable his Morph is even though he scarcely uses it and trailers it anywhere further than 100 miles. Want reliable Luke? My wife's Honda has almost 10,000 miles on it. You know what I do to keep it running? I oil the chain and change the oil and could ride it anywhere, at any time.

We all kid around here but respect each others choices. Calling Vespas "A Girl's Bike" and all Chinese scooters "Junk owned by people who don't know better" isn't kidding, it's derisive and Classicist.
And that is what this all about.
