Is there a way to narrow it down to the belt, variator, or driven pulley?

You need to take the CVT cover off and check the belt and Variator , since it does not do this starting off i will say you can eliminate the clutch.

Something I just thought of while I'm at work: There's supposed to be three little rubber guides on one of the variator parts right? If I remember right, those aren't on for my variator. That's probably the cause of the rattling I'm getting, could it also cause the vibration?
Also, do you know a place I can order a good belt? I'm pretty sure that I have the original belt on and it's almost at 4000 miles.
Thanks Allyoop, you've been a great help.
