I have a 50cc Tao Tao scooter. I am having a hard time starting it I have to hold the throttle wide open and then still it takes a couple of time to start it finally. But is runs like crap I did put a carb on it about a week ago. There is a canister with 2 vacuum lines coming from it, the bottom line is off and not sure where it goes I've look every where and still cant I identify where is belongs. I believe I disconnected it on accident. Can anyone help me with my problem?

It could be your PAIR canister or your vapor recovery canister. Can you take a picture of it and post it? Also, where do the lines from it run?

I beleive you are talking about a EVAP system which is a canister to VENT the gas tank. And only one vacuum line should be connected to it and it would be the very top one. It has TWO connectors on the bottom which NOTHING is supposed to be connected to it HERE IS WHAT I think you have and your problem because you have it connected wrong.

IF THIS IS NOT IT PUT A PICTURE OR DISCRIBE WHERE THE HOSES going to the canister are coming from and we can tell you what it is and how to either connect it up right or disconnect it right.
