I have never liked red. To me, there are just a few places it looks good on a bike. And none of them are on mine. LOL
Actually, I think it makes a great trim color. And Christmas wouldn't be complete without it. Just keep it away from my bike, car, house, dog, kids.....
Richard, I think it's 15 years old and never seen a mechanic. That's like hitting 70 and never getting a colonoscopy done.... Might still run well, but could be stopped up inside too....

just diagnosed my friends kz1000 ltd had a strange miss and vibration ,,,,turned out one of the plug wire outputs to one cylinder in a coil had the metal contact cup inside was corroded and gone so one cylinder was running weak,,,swapped in another coil,,,BAM!!!,,,instant smooth running bike,,,so it could be something as silly as a plug wire or some termination problem,,

Yep. I'm actually hoping it's something real simple like needing a new plug wire.
Changing my front caliper tomorrow. At least I hope I get to it, so many other things I need to be doing instead...
Cleaned, painted and rebuilt the old caliper. Now it's going back on. Then I can do that to this one and have a spare.
Mounted and wired my new light switch on the left side. That was too easy but the new ones don't have the wires for the marker lights, just the turn signals. Gotta figure something out for that. And my Flash to Pass button isn't working, but high and low beams work fine. Have to puzzle over that one with a meter.
