Yup, I did. I had almost a 1/4 inch before it was grabbing. Adjusted that out and it shifts SO much smoother, but Neutral still doesn't like me even though it's much easier to find now.
The only rattles left on it now are the pipes. It's getting to be that time.
Installing my air horn this morning. Getting tired of blind tourists cutting me off. Changing from;
*beep*
to
*BEEEEEP!!*

Check the pinch bolt on the shifter lever where it goes on the shaft ,, I've had that happen a couple times and was wondering why it was wonky to shift ,,, had that condition on my dr350 last fall,,, when they're loose it can be a bear to shift,,,should be a 10 mm

Speaking of pipes ,,, go with the supertrapp setup,,, use the original headpipes and get the collector and the silencer,,, major improvement in sound /weight/ performance,,, unless you find someone silly enough selling the whole thing ( stranger things have happened)

I've been pricing full dressers or what they call Baggers now, because the wife wants something more 'comfy' than the Nighthawk. Can't really say as I blame her. The seat was not designed for long rides.
Since I refuse to take a mortgage out on a house I don't own, then the new bikes are a bit out of reach. So, I've decided to convert this one into a 'mini-bagger'. Windshield, faring, hard saddlebags and a trunk box with a built-in backrest for her. That should make quite a nice bike actually. I don't plan on racing it and I'll get about the same mileage as one of the new bikes. Extra driving lights, extra stop lights and bigger LED turn signals.... Maybe a tow truck style flashing yellow LED setup on the back. Make damn sure I'm seen....

Yeah. I was thinking about Super Trapp. I want to hang the pipes lower than OEM though. Think I'll be able to swing that one?

Corbin makes a great seat for that thing,,, there are literally tons of parts and accessories for that bike,, they made over a million of them and quite a few of those bikes have gone around the world on tours,, have no fear,,, it is truly one of the greats,,, little tough going around the world on an island tho,,,,, lol

I expect to be moving back to the mainland later this year. Sept / Oct...
Where would you find hard bags for it? I've looked.
Already found a nice fairing/windshield combo for it.
