Not sure this Is the right place to write this note . Been a while since I have been on SC Wife had open heart surgery last of Feb. and I have had my mind on her ( she Is doing great ). Also In March my computer crashed and when I got It back It had windows 10 Installed and I'm still trying to get used to that. I'm thinking maybe last year Alley you gave me a website where I could get a wire connector of some sort to make Led light's blink or alternate. I would like to get this website If possible. Thanks Alley. Also I have purchased a 2009 Honda Silver Wing 600cc with a Tow-Pac trike kit.Still making adjustments on the trike kit but able to ride It and I have been In contact with Tow-Pac.

It's too bad alley hasn't been around for 6 months or so as he is the only person I can think of for towpack. I think he had a brother in law or some such with one. Rapid Jim may be able to answer questions though.
Probably best to junk this thread and start a new one so towpack gets noticed. A lot of people skip over an old thread with this many pages.

Jct842, I'm not having any problems with the Tow-Pac trike kit, they have been really good to advise me on anything I have ask them. I was asking Alley about a wire connection that would make led lite strips blink or run in alternate sequince

I too would like to hear about the scooter side of the tow pack. On motorcycle board they aren't popular but, they are heavier and there weight is higher. There could be a lot of differences include that they are legally called trailer/trikes here. Because they aren't trikes but more of a mounted trailer. The hitch attaches in the middle instead of the tail end and some of them come with large racks to carry.

Hi richardv, So far I have put 500 miles on this bike and the Tow-Pac trike kit Is working good. It did have a plate on the rear where you could put a ball for towing and I removed mine as I don't Intend to do any towing and also It was at the right height to skin your shin. I do have a slight wobble feel In the front and I have not figured that one out yet but I will hopefully.

They do come in many forms for motorcycles if you look them up. The wobble in the front end - on triked motorcycles they put an angled triple tree so that the fork is out at like 7 degrees more than stock. This takes away the wobble and make steering easier. I'm not sure if that's done on the Tow-Pack bikes and don't know if such is available for scooters.
Things I would like to know is who makes them for scooters and which makes and styles of scooters and what style of Tow-Pack.

Thanks for the link. I have been to there site about 10 years ago but I wasn't into scooters at that time and I don't remember them have any for scooters. I did save the site to my favorites for the future. Thanks again.

There are no service manuals for the trikes, what you get is the user manual and HERE the manual is actually for the 2 wheel scooter the TRIKE was made from. You see what they do is take a 2 wheel scooter take the back tire and swingarm off and put on the TRIKE swingarm which is held on to the front frame on both sides. And yes there are hardly any scooter dealers that will work on chinese anything unless they also sell chinese scooters. The Trike part of the trikes are pretty simple and any good mechanic worth anything can work and figure out the rear ends on these trikes. But you will find that the forum is your best bet when something goes wrong to find out what is wrong. A scooter dealer will charge you labor of at least 60+ dollars an hour and most of them SORRY to say do not know enough to diagnose a problem. What they are good at is REPLACING parts and hope to swap out the part that is causing the problem and handing you a big arse bill. Most are NOT into detail so they are very sloppy in putting things back as they were. Alleyoop Hey Alleyoop, I just bought the Icebear pst50 and an wanting to put the bbkit on it. Di you know of anyone who has done this and any comments about me doing this to my new trike? I just did it to my new icebear scooter and it made one heck of a difference. I put the 80 bbk on the scooter but am thinking about the 100 bbk for the trike. Also, I cant seem to find an aftermarket exhaust that fits the trike. I tried the exhaust on my icebear scooter and it almost fit but the headder pipe angled towards the rear fender and would have taken a lot of bending to get it to work. I couldn't bend it myself. Any ideas or links to an aftermarket exhaust? Thanks brother!

"If your trike has a trailer hitch, I'll be happy to share the benefit of my experience with you and others on how to best utilize it." Hwy hobbles, hiw are ya brother? I just bought the Icebear pst50 and was wondering about putting a big bore kit on it. I noticed you mentioned you put 3 bbkits on yours. Why 3? Any advice on where I can get an aftermarket exhaust that fits the trike? I teied the aftermarket exhaust from my scooter but the headder pipe was angled too much towards the rear fender. Any links for an exhaust thata made for the Icebear trike?
