I would like to know what is the best electric scooter for a reasonable price? Im not interested in a 90k prototype model (BMW) ha. If you can share your fav 1-3k model, and a 3k-6k model that would be great. I just found this ZEV3600. Looks like a legit company and product. www.zelectricvehicle.com/5.html Does this look good to you guys? If anyone can share their Electric Scooter experience that would be great.

Interesting bike. I'm not a fan of hub motors though. They don't seem to be very reliable and they add unsprung weight. If you do get it please let us know how it performs for you. I will be looking to buy a scooter in about a year so am looking at all kinds.

If you really want to go electric, then you might as well go for a regular bike. Electric scoots are very new with almost no track record behind them but electric bikes have been around for a while now. Check these two out. They are the leaders of the field: Zero MotorcyclesBrammoJust saw the Brammo updated their site. Look in the PROJECTS section.

OR.... You can convert your own. I've done most of the leg work on that but ran into a snag converting mine. I didn't have a place to do the actual work.
Turns out it's easier to convert one than it is to fix the gas engine. If you have a scoot already, you're almost halfway there.
