Has nothing to do with the ENRICHER. it may be pressure in the tank builds up and stops the flow of fuel since it happens after quite a few miles of riding then returns to normal and agin happens after some riding. What is the temperature there if its hot that may be it. Alleyoop It was 61 degrees this morning right now it is 80 and I will be on my way home and will see if it happens again I've owned the scoot since new and never experienced this before I will update later

Does your scoot have an EVAP system? In other words a vent hose from the top of the gas tank goes to a Charcoal Canister and is operated by a Vacuum hose from the Intake manifole. If so some times people will overfill the tank and gas spashs into the vent hose and eventually soaks the Canister and it does not vent so well after that. If so you can just plug up the VACUUM hose AT IT's ORIGIN and take the vent hose coming from the tank and zip tie it little higher than the outlet. Alleyoop

Well here is the consensus as of now. My ride home involved allowing the scoot to warm for awhile while the tractor trailer ran a regeneration for quite awhile. The scooter never stalled but then I got about three miles from work and it lost power I pulled over turned it off and immediately started it back up again. I was able to drive all the way home but not with the top speed she usually has. I was only able to get up to about 60 mph the whole ride home. (about 23 miles) I looked down the fuel line to see where the fuel filter may be to see if it were getting clogged and low and behold I can not find one. So I guess that I need to invest in one and put it in line, I also pulled a shut off switch off near the center stand that I installed a year ago to see if it was getting fuel and when i pulled it off the gas sure poured out fast. I wont be able to ride the scoot tomorrow for much more diagnoses as it is due to rain. Hopefully the en-richer finally comes in and I can pull the carburetor, and make sure nothing is in the bowl. I also looked over the bike to see if it had a evap canister and I am also unable to locate one of them either. Just for the heck of it I ordered a fuel pump and that should arrive Tuesday of next week. The bike now does have 5300 miles on it so I figured I might as well try it anyway. I did shine a flash light into the gas tank to see if anything was floating in there. And I also was not able to see if anything was floating.

I pulled the exhaust off and when i shake it, it sounds like a baby rattle inside. So now to wait for the new one to arrive. the en-richer is in. The fuel pump is on its way probably Tuesday arrival. And probably a week wait for the muffler system. no saving money this week on gas using the scoot for the commute to work. Looks like the Harley will be out of the shop at the exact same time that I can start using the scoot for my commute to work and home. I do have to say special thanks to Alleyoop and Cyborg for all of their knowledgeable advice. I will update on how the scoot runs once I get the last of the parts in and installed.

ok well here is an update. I replaced exhaust fuel pump enricher. I insured the enricher had power when running. I adjusted the valves they were too tight. I watched the video on how to properly adjust them. today after work it started right up without needed that throttle strap that I made to get it started. But now I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a vacuum diagram from for this bike. Really weird I get home from work today and a hose was sticking out the side that I never saw before it appears to go below the motor somewhere and it had no clamp on it so I am wondering if it is a breather hose or where the heck it is supposed to go to. Also a nut disapeared off of my rear brake caliper. I am honestly beginning to think someone is messing with me at work. I have had more things disapearing off the scoot in the last few months than I have had in four years. But a vacuum hose diagram would be great if I can find one somewhere.
