Help, please. I have an 09 Metro that is basically dead. The battery is good but it does nothing when I turn the key on. No lights or electric start. Tried kick starting but get no spark. Please give me some ideas. Thanks

How did you check the battery? John i used a fluke multi meter and had it load tested at autozone. It registered 12.6 volts and didn't drop at all when I hit the start button. I did make sure kill switch was in the on position too haha

find the solenoid and cross up the two large poles with an old screw driver BRIEFLY,,,that should turn the starter over and quite possibly start the bike,,,and as i type i think the "relay" you say is clicking would probably be the solenoid ,,,and clicking is an indication that either the battery is not up to the task and is on it's way out or the terminals along the path of electricity are corroded or loose

How do I pm you, cyborg?

This is the SOLENOID: Get a screw driver and touch both terminals it should spin your starter be prepared your motor may start. Alleyoop

To find it follow the thick red wire from the battery, the positive cable from the battery will be attached to one of the Solenoid terminals the other terminal on the Solenoid will go to the Starter.
Also if you hear clicking that is the Solenoid making that sound which usually means 1 of 2 things BAD SOLENOID or WEAK BATTERY. Also if it is clicking that also means your ignition is getting juice from the battery and anything else not working that should work with the key on is another problem. Your scoot MAY have a fuse box if so the fuse box's on the scoots control voltage to lights and other items on the scoot.
