ALSO DON'T FORGET TO GIVE THE IDLE SPEED SCREW 1/4 turn CLOCKWISE just in case the butterfly is completely closed, doesn't take much to open the butterfly so do not go overboard on the IDLE SPEED SCREW. That is like holding the throttle just a LITTLE OPEN that is all the IDLE SPEED SCREW does but when it moves the butterfly it EXPOSES more of the PILOT JETs FUEL OUTLETS so more gas gets sucked into the motor.

Ok so I did all you said oh and I did have wires backwards. And im gettin same thing I got excited for a sec because a popped once but then nothing.im starting to think its electric and or gas. Cuz normally when you try to start with no throttle it turns but if you hold wot the engine would turn over faster I guess cuz it would be getting gas. But it doesn't do that now. I need to find a 2007 wiring harness for this bike. I got a generic one months ago and had to rig it up and I dont wanna go through that when im already having trouble. So if you guys know a site that Carey's old model stuff let meknow please. I email peace but no reply yet

If the gas is only 3 weeks old then that is not the problem unless water got into the gas tank and it is watered down. I thought you said the gas smelled old cause it was old. OLD is like 6 months or more. Heck I have the same gas in mine for over 6 months and no problems. If the PLUG is firing then your electrical is FINE. That means the COIL is working the CDI is working the PICK UP COIL is working and the STATOR is working. So for the motor to run it needs compression, fuel and air and spark. So one of those is bad. So Lets check one thing at a time: 1. You say you got spark so that is out. 2. Compression is QUESTIONABLE 3. Gas is QUESTIONABLE 4. Air we know your probably getting to much without the AIR FILTER ON. Did you turn the IDLE SPEED SCREW 1/4 turn CLOCKWISE? Alleyoop Here is the BUTTERFLY and the PILOT JET FUEL OUTLETS. IF THE BUTTERFLY IS CLOSED NO FUEL OUTLETS WILL BE EXPOSED and NO START. NOW you can VERIFY that the BUTTERFLY is not covering the FUEL OUTLETS by Pulling the CARB off the INTAKE and JUST TAKE A LOOK and see if you can see SOME LITTLE FUEL OUTLETS. IF NOT with the CARB off TURN THE IDLE SPEED SCREW so that AT LEAST THE THE FIRST FUEL OUTLET IS EXPOSED.

I was thinking last night my old head was a "Xin Xing-B" and 'was an egr" or whatever. And I went to a normal kind on the high and low. Would that matter?

Are you saying the problem is the compression? and if so how did you come to that conclusion? If it is the compression then yes you need a new top end. Or at the very least new rings.
Have you checked the carbs butterfly and verified that it is not completely closed and not allowing fuel to be sucked in?

C'mon Bruh I think you have what you need to run. as I stated before It's highly unlikely the bbk is so out to lunch it hasn't enough compression to start. Determin this b-4 ya buy more new parts, but in the end its your wallet beg borrow or steal that psicomp. gauge b-4 ya throw more new parts at her. I dunno, Cam 180 out? half sheared fly wheel key? your close. Even with a carb off I can dump a half teaspoon of fuel directly into the port and make her pop off. good luck

I wonder if the day i first put it in and went for a pretty long ride. Thats when the thing lost peperformance then just stopped and won't work. I need wire harness...manifold bolts.maybe rocker arms. How would icheck to see if i need to change them
