i had a sony cd player mounted under my seat car stereo and hooked to batt with toggle switch to turn off i got pulled over at 9 pm and told it was to loud no amp and junk speakers from my old chevy truck. want to hook it back up but want it were i can turn up an down with out stopping opening truck every time. i have vip it has lock trunk in front not the big pockit like deal you see on most but i don't want to tear it up or make it look trashy maybe if i had drumle set i could cut perfect fit in door and square molding inside but my luck frame be to close to fit nice any ideas?

How about above the mirror run the wireing inside the headliner and back

If it takes a hour to charge up the battery how are able to do this? I love the idea but do think you should put in a battery capacitor also.
