The tach works fine. The odometer works fine. When I check the speedometer against a gps and my speedo reads 58-60 that equals 35 mph on the gps. It isn't kph don't know what it is and no one has any ideas what or how to fix it. I've had the scooter for about a year and after a couple issues early on and an electronic fuel pump it runs great. I have looked for an aftermarket gps to use instead of using my cell phone and can't come up with a solution. Any ideas?

The speedometers on all bikes/scooters are notoriously off. Generally 10% on the high side. Supposedly to fool the rider to keep the speed down. I did see a new face for an analog speedometer, but a digital speedo, not much you can do.

Yes they are way off and the faster you go the MORE they are off up to 20% on some. The problem is they use the same SPEEDO hub gear for all size wheels and the same gears in the speedos. The closet to the real mph is if your front wheel is 13inchs then it is only a couple miles off. But this is what I did on mine I used decal paper and stuck the numbers on the face of the plastic cover. All you really want is to get somewhat close to the real speed so you don't go and pass up a cop Alleyoop
