anyone else here run RC? ive been in it almost 2 years now and have 2 vehicles. a 1:18 ECX Ruckus and a old (2000-ish) 1:10 Associated RC10T3. nothing crazy, both still brushed and running NIMH 6s packs. ill admit, im still somewhat a noob even though i been it in for a little while. I don't race or anything, just for fun as its something ive always wanted since I was little but it was too expensive then.

the ECX is dusty from running it today, looks terrible in the pic LOL.

I've had several cars and two airplanes, until they crashed. Then my career ended along with the income. I'm looking to get back into the cars if I can get a job. Now I just play with my model trains.

ya it can get expensive quick if you break stuff. I got a couple parts chassis around for each that have most of the suspension parts intact. had to replace front diff on the ruckus because the slipper clutch wasn't set right and I blew out the spider gears.

I wanted to make one with a weedeater motor, or lawnmower motor. I've seen them with small v8s.

Scratch Built Der Jager cut every piece of wood worked off the plans, 85 inch wing span 25lbs, G62 Gas motor put in smoke system. Final cost finished 2K.

Great looking collection. It looks like you had some fun and still are.
I don't think I'll be trying airplanes again. Living in an apartment now so I will have to stick with the model rail roading.

Yea hobbies can get expensive, each plane is around $700.00 the motors alone are $300.00+. They are 4 strokes 90 size and up depending on the plane. The Corsair has a 120 the U-Can do has a 100 the others have 90s.
