I have an E.ton Beamer III. My fuel gauge wasn't working so I bought a new one. The problem is the new one has 3 wires while to old one has 2. It works but only reads a half tank when the tank is full. I'm not much on wiring but is there a way to convert it so it reads correctly?

if the new gauge has 3 wires and the old sender only has 2, I would suggest replacing the old sender with a 3 wire one instead of trying to hack electrical wiring for the tank. 12 volts and gas aren't usually friendly with each other.

Looks like you may have gotten the incorrect replacement,,,
