Hi I have a taotao 50 and when you Sit down it bottoms out. I read to change the fork oil. I got the forks off I was wondering if anyone knows what type of oil I would use?

You have other problems. The oil is there to resist or slow the movement. Even if the oil was totally missing it should not bottom out from sitting on it. How much do you weigh? It seems to me the springs are too weak for the weight. The

I only way 150 max so that cant be the problem. You sure it cant be the oil, could the springs be bad?

New scooter?,,,,pull it apart,,, you may have a broken spring or even one missing,,, I run from 10 weight to 15-20 depending on the bike

No its a 2012 taotao ATM50 or something like that. Havnt used it in about a year. Been going through fixing it up getting ready to sell it. This is the last problem besides tthe front brakes the line was bad replaced it but cant get it to bleed for the life of me. Will probably let it go without bleeding the brakes but eant to fix the shocks at least.
