I have a Rhon 50cc scooter that has been sitting in my garage for three years with 600miles on it. It ran the last time I cranked it. I replaced the battery and I get no spark via electric control and the kickstart does nothing. I can do some minor mechanical work, but don't have any experience with motorcycles/scooters. I am currently not getting a spark and the last time I used it, it cranked. I added new gasoline. The scooter does not have a dipstick so I currently do not know how to check the oil. Per the instructions, you are suppose to add 2cycle engine to the gas.
From what I see, the connection to the spark plug is fairly weak and the spark plug itself may need to be replaced.
I am going to replace the spark plug tomorrow and add oil to the gas tomorrow.
What else could be wrong?
Thanks in advance.

As long as you go to parts store get a spark tester put the wire connect to wire and other end to plug see in glass section if any spark coming out of coil. they are cheep and can be a time saver and you wont be buying plugs unnecessary. They are the best investment in you tool box.
