Hi, new to mopeds and I've run into a few problems! The first off is that during the heat the idle is way too high, but during the colder nights it has trouble starting and wants to die at stop signs. I've changed the air/fuel but neither seemed to do anything. The front (I guess header?) Looks like it's leaking and spitting some oil out on to the bike as well. While checking out the header the ignition coil looks like it doesn't fit on the spark plug, it can just bounce off or easily be pulled off. I've also noticed the headlights are very dim though they get a little brighter when I put on the breaks. I've read a few similar posts but I'm really not sure where to start. ( Oh and the lovely person before me cut off the muffler) . Any help would be appreciated thank you

2 choices tighhten the spark plug cap or buy a new one, comes with the coil. inside the carb is where the jets are. Do a search in the library on how to replace them. First find out which are in there then order the next size bigger. The muffler missing is why it is starved for gas. It might be well to replace it before going into the jets. I cut mine off a brand new scooter and made a adapter to screw on a briggs muffler. That did require larger jets and is the most economical muffler I know of, I think was in neighborhood of ten bucks. aand is loud.

They make different depth caps. I know because I ordered one by accident.
