I see that Treatland now has a re-machined NC50 head that has been milled out for the 70CC kitted bikes. Is there really a gain with this modified head?

HA! I had a Honda 50 Cub Dream in '66. I drove it and my girlfriend all over Maryland for hundreds of miles. I miss the bike.

The new Chinese cone air cleaner for the Dellorto showed up today. The engine has a deeper growl and engine response is much better. Top speed is still 35 mph. At my altitude and original exhaust, I'm probably at my max speed. The bike will not climb a steep hill, the clutch just does not have the bite due to the lowering RPM.

I did the Lean Drop test again. 35 MPH and cut the ignition. Someone else told me to change the spark gap smaller than normal.Does that sound right?
