So I just bought a brand new gy6 150cc and I hooked up very thing too my buggy tomberlin cross fire wiring harness I checked for spark I'm getting spark so this what happens the motor will only turn over once then struggle to turn over then turn over again I have extra cdi should I try that I can't kickstart can any body help me

Battery fully charged?,,I'd be checking all electrical terminations,,,especially the battery to frame ground connections and all starter related connections,,,also it wasn't clear is this a new engine in an existing buggy chassis? If it is I'd be suspect of the solenoid being /going bad,,,turn on the ignition and use a large old screwdriver and cross the terminals of the solenoid ,,it should turn over,,if not pull the plug and see if it'll turn over ,,it should spin pretty fast,,,if there's still trouble it may be the starter

Yea I think your on it,,,I'd do the starter first myself,,sounds like the solenoid but hard to tell without having my hands on it

Yea I think your on it,,,I'd do the starter first myself,,sounds like the solenoid but hard to tell without having my hands on it Changed starter and solenoid still same issue could it be timing

Yes,,was the engine assembled when you got it or did you have to put it together?,,,and was it a new never started engine or a used one ?
