I just got this 2008 shenke and all ive done so far is clean everything up. I took the carburator off and ran it through the ultrasonic cleaner. The main problem was oil in the starter because of a bad o-ring. I took that apart and ran it through the ultrasonic cleaner and it seems to work just fine now. Ive got two problems. I adjusted the idle mix to 1 1/2 turns out but now when it idles when the bike is perfectly vertical but as i tip it to the left it dies. The other thing is i keep reading how to tell if you have an ac or dc cdi and they say if your headlights come on when the bike isnt running then you have a dc system. My headlights work when its not running however the size of the cdi is small like an ac. Also i turned the key to run and did not get a 12v reading on any pins on the clips. It also has two wires on the small clip. I havent yet gotten the flywheel puller to get at the stator to confirm. I was hoping to figure it out without taking it apart since its working fine otherwise. I just want to order an unrestricted cdi and im afraid to plug in the wrong kind. Thanks for any advise.

Thanks ill adjust that and see what happens. I realize ill have to take the plastics back off and trace the wires to see if its an ac or dc cdi. Ive watched so many youtubes now i can see thats the only real surefire way to know.
