Hi Everyone, I have a 2020 baodiao scooter with the 139 qmb motor. It has just under 500 miles. I am in Florida & we dont get cold weather often BUT last night it got down to 45. My scooter is in a garage not left outside. When I went to start it today it was very difficult and it took many tries to get it going.
When it finally started it stumbled and fumbled a bit until it warmed up & I rode it bout 7 miles with only 1 issue that is very low idle and a couple of times it stalled out but restarted on the 1st try. I did try to adjust the idle and no matter how I turn the screw the scooter occasionally didn't react to turning that screw. I don't see any way to adjust the carburetor other than that one screw. Everything looks tight & ok no loose hoses & no smell of fuel.
I wonder if replacing the carburetor would solve the issue? I also went out 5 hours later and it started right up BUT has that low idle issue. It fluctuates from 700 rpm to over 3800 rpm.
Carbs are cheap so maybe replace it? any ideas??

If it's running try putting a couple of ounces of Seafoam, a fuel additive, in the tank and go for a ride. More than likely you have deposits in the system and Seafoam will clear it out.
