I gotta tell you guys a quick story, not too long ago I was bragging about using a suction cup mount with my Tom Tom and never having any trouble with it:

A couple weeks ago I took the Rat out for a test run after resetting the needle and at 60 MPH the GPS (by its own display mind you), flies off and bounces wildly up and down on the road landing smack in the middle of traffic. I turn around and cruise back not really expecting to find it, but there it is right in the middle of the road with SUVs zooming over it. I dodge traffic and retrieve it. It was scuffed up but still glowing with the most bizarre combination of symbols you've ever seen; the poor thing was addled. I rebooted it three times when I got home and it started working again! So here's my new mount, I don't think it's going anywhere now. It's just amazing the thing still works. Oh, I forgot to tell you, my scoot now tops out at 100MPH! . Rich

before I got the handle bar mount for my Tom Tom I was using the suction cup on my windshield and at about 45mph it came loose and skidded across the road I figured it was history, but except for some road rash it still works fine now I got the suction cup mount in my car so I can easily use in either vehicle and the handle bar mount around the left mirror has been working great can tilt it out of the glare of the sun its right there to see as I am always watching my mirrors behind me as well as whats in front of me. I guess I got lucky as my Tom Tom took a nice bounce and skidded into the ditch so it didnt get ran over by any other traffic sure helped me decide to get the better mount only 20$

@ Bashan where did u get the tach? and where ex-actually does it hook up to I need one of those for my scoot as it doesnt have a tach gauge on the Bali 250 or known as the Jonway YY250T-2

well here is mine, i got a garmin Nuvi and this is just a basic handle bar mount and it works well on mine.
