So if this is in fact the Linhai, then is it slightly longer than the Cf version?

Missing one handle grip knob - oh well Well you can take care of them with these. Ok I was taking some picture of the saddle bags I picked up I figured I should take some pics of the Mirrors at the same time. So please forgive the BUGS... Have to wash the scooter again that is only after 2 days of riding. Is that where your mirros came originally?

In that body style the YY250T (244cc/CfMoto engine) has the longer wheel base.

HA! I saw the Red comment somewhere else tonight while looking for info on vacuum lines.
Yes I'm reading my butt off trying to find specific 07 issues, and identify what looks right and what might not be.
I guess I've got a lot of work ahead with fluid changes and possible hoses, lines and clamps, loctite and torquing. Thanks for the gas reminder. My son was floored to see it half apart already and can't believe this needs to be done.
BTW since we're in the dealer section, still waiting to hear from PSM about the damage on the first 2 Sunny / Fashion type scooters. Tic toc, tic toc

Well, while the first order was being processed, they answered every email on the same day and every phone call......until I sent the pictures of the 2 damaged scooters in my first order. Now they don't answer anything. Go Figure.
You are really open to issues pending what you order and where it will be shipped from with companies like these.
The first 2 scooters came from "their" warehouse in LA and are Sunny brand - wouldn't recommend - and I'm starting to think that you should avoid anything with a PDI from certain online stores. They open the crate to do nothing worth while and you suffer damage from the crate and scooter not being resealed properly. Better off left alone.
Comment earlier regarding me having them shipped across country has some merit, but I've had a third scooter shipped with no damage, only a few hundred miles shy of the first two. It's the crappy crating that plays more into it. Shippers could care less and treat everything the same with their forklifts - so how you pack it means all the difference in the world. <see Ace Ventura Pet Detective> The crating on the first two scooters were opened and not reassembled and closed properly after.
Regarding what you order from stores like this, my second order was a 250 Roketa 54 style which came in as a JCL 250A. Much better experience - same store, different warehouse. Warehouse seems to be the key when ordering from a "drop-shipper". All fine if you know what you're getting and how to manipulate. I did not.
So they aren't speaking to me about the damaged scooters and aren't speaking to my credit card company. Credit card co. tells me I have to keep these crates blocking my garage up for 45 days max - then what?
It is what it is. Spin the Wheel of Destiny and take your chances - or go to well established brick and mortar shops and support good people and their families. Unless they do good by the first two damaged scooters, I'm not sure they can be trusted to make good on the bad deals that happen from time to time.

I just checked the BBB site and Superior is down to a D-
I read the customer reviews on the site and it seems to me the worst ratings are from ATV and GoKart buyers. Also, one doesn't know how knowledgeable the purchasers are when it comes to Chinese vehicles. Do they know that these things are not "plug-and-play"?
I make take a chance on Superior Powersports in the future.

You are bang on with the knowledge of the purchase. I admit I didn't know as much as I would have liked to, but I did read for a couple of weeks and I mean a lot. I figured I was up for the task so to speak. This purchase is the biggest topic at work. I can't believe it. People I only vaguely know are talking to me and know the intimate details of my purchases thru others. Amazing really how much attention this stuff is getting. I tell them it isn't for everyone - and that's the truth. If you arent into vehicle maintenance, you need to dish out 4x more for a purchase and pay a dealer to maintain and hope they aren't pulling the wool over your eyes everytime you go in because they read into your level of capability. I am looking forward to finishing my "reverse engineering" on the JCL 250 and hope I can get it to the point of regualr use and maintenance, not problematic maintenance. However to your point of "trying Superior", like I've said and you echoed, it seems to really depend on what you buy, and your ability beyond that. Simply not for everyone. I think I'll take it up a notch next time and go CF Motto or Kymco level.

FYI
PSM is ownded by DEEAL
BBB rating for DEEAL = A (how's that for manipulating - this is why I took my chances with PSM vs Superior)
BBB rating for PSM on the other hand = F (that's why you start a subsiduary, to take focus away from this eye sore) All complaints lodged against PSM are unanswered - hence the F

Missing one handle grip knob - oh well The plastic chrome grip-end was not missing. PSM emailed me that it was packed in the tool kit to avoid possible damage from the proximity to the crate. I'm impressed. Though that was probably JCL, not PSM that did that. Good communication regardless.

Well my account with PSM was update Friday night to order the damaged panels for the yellow Fashion-style scoot in my first order. Nice, hopefully see somthing soon. Dark red one from that same order is in limbo still. Too much damage on that one, I think the shipping company should take the hit there. I don't want to fix that one. Working to return it.
So far PSM is working with me on all accounts.

I've kept my mouth shut on this for months now, hoping for a fair resolution. Not working out in my favor. You are playing roulette if you order from this company. Check out the complaints on the BBB. I have no idea how they can have an A rating with all those compaints. Everyone has the same issue with customer service - they put you on hold if you get thru at all, then drop your call. I called numerous times and can never get thru, then they send a 10 page letter to my CC saying I made no attempt to work with them. How do you win that arguement? They dont answer the phone and say you don't call.
However ordering a Jonway seems to be safe - ordering anything else puts you at high risk for warehouse or shipping damage for some reason.
I will never order from this store again. I am still fighting with my credit card and the store to get any resolution for the damages from the order in April on the 2 Helix style units, and have not uncrated them.

UPDATE - after receiving the first 2 Helix / Fashion style scooters in the first week of April, I will finally uncrate them and move on. I'll write details when I get a chance but I finally received some money back towards the shipping / handling damages to these 2 units. Not a win on my side as far as I'm concerned, but better than the offers that they made over all these months. Capital One was no help either, and we will not be doing business with them nor the PowersportsMax ever again. Details to follow soon

Superior Power Sports answered my request for info to buy a unit - 2 weeks after I emailedOK, it's the height of the scooter buying season, everybody in budget conscious America is understaffed. Did they answer your questions promptly when you called the sales staff on the phone? As someone who purchased from Superior Power Sports within the last month, I can honestly say, No, they don't return calls. See my reply in their thread. I was never talking about Superior Power Sports? Never messed with that place www.superiorpowersports.com/ I was talking about www.powersportsmax.com/index_parts.php/tID/3I have never bought a Scooter nor will I offline, I prefer to test drive and have my scooters delivered or rode home not in a crate. I just have ordered parts from here. I got my scooter at a local dealer in Mansfield, Oh.

So let me clear this up and give u both links for Power Sports Max and Superior Power Sports, who I never heard of till I googled there name, this is place I am talking about www.powersportsmax.com/index_parts.php/tID/3 NOT HERE 2 different companys! www.superiorpowersports.com/
