Any one from Pa. had Emission Inspection problems on stock or modified Scooters? I want to replace #3 since the hip is not happy with the seating/handlebar position . If Pa. Emissions exist or are tough I might bite the bullet and go 250 and do no engine modifications. I have read on a non Pa. Site that Motorcycles are exempt, and considering Va. tags as a motorcycle it would make sense Pa does the same.

As far as I know, there are no requirements other than the scoot has to be on the approved mfr list. I've never had an emissions test on my rides when I get the annual safety inspection.

PA conducts a visual inspection only. No emissions inspection yet, but now that you gave them the idea....THANKS A LOT !!!
