The Rad looks like it is made out of some material like plastic or something and not Aluminum
damn good price if it works.

I have seen one of those... they are made from anodized aluminum... very nice...

I think you have to tap the block however...

Well they emailed me back, as usuall they do not know SQUAT they just sell the danm thing.
I emailed them back and told them that there should be instructions with the kit and or a Diagram and to either put them on there website or send me a copy. But I don't think they will be doing anything if you ask me.

What a pain in the butt...The unit looks decent but from the picture I think it needs to be tapped into the block...

Perhaps some other supplier will start carrying them.. like some supplier that knows something...

I'm not holding much hope however cause they don't even list the 150cc... duh!

Ok, I emailed the scooterparts place.

WEll it looks like the CHROME one just replaces your DRAIN under the crank and that is it(VERY SIMPLE).
The oil pump pumps the oil through the line through the radiator then returns back to the Drain and out into the engine. So the part that replaces the Filter has an inlet from for the PUMP and an outlet back into the engine, very simple design.

The others look like you have may have to tap the case, they don't have the Two Way fitting to replace the drain plug.

that is an HT cooler.. they are different the aluminum extrusion type originally referenced.

The HT coolers attach to the sump drain and the oil dip stick. The aluminium ones look like they need to be tapped into the block.

Some guys are adapting these for REAL cooling. Just tap the drain plug with a brass elbow, run an inline pump and then return it to the dip stick hole.. piece of cake...

Someone told be they were using a Mikuni D44 gas pump off the vacuum and it worked great...especially on bikes with no stator...

Well, I would buy a new drain plug and a 3/8" - 90 deg brass elbow and then just drill and tap the plug. This way if you screw up it only costs a few bucks. Any plumping shop should be able to do it for you...the 3/8 elbows you can buy anywhere

Then on the flow back to the dip stick hole, you could probably use a dip stick and just cut it and tap it as well. The aluminum dip sticks would be the best...but plastic would work too.

The key to this is getting a pump that would work... perhaps a 12V inline fuel pump from a boat etc. I would mount it after the oil cooler so the heat of the oil is less than the oil from the engine... would probably extend the life of the pump considerably...

That's a great idea Sprocket, running it back to the filller would really simplify things. I like the idea of the vacuum pump too, no wiring hassles and a helluvalot cheaper than the electric pumps. If the heat roasts it, get another one. Rich

Many of the newer 150ccs 2010++ have the oil cooler holes drilled and tapped. Problem is you have to remove the shroud to see if you have one like that.

My guess is they are doing them like that cause they use the GY6 in other vehicles now and some require a cooler...

I'm not certain how well those aftermarket HT coolers work that use the drain plug for in and out.

I have been thinking about using heat pipes and a fan like they use on high end computers...these things move an incredible amount of heat, just not sure how to get it into the oil .

There could be enough pressure at high revs, but I think it falls off pretty much at idle...you might get into a situation where there is not enough oil circulating through the engine, cause the cooler is taking all the pressure... that would normally go up to the rocker arms etc.
