I was hoping to adjust the valve clearances but when it came to removing the valve cover there's a great big piece of frame right infront preventing me from lifting the cover away.Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you solve it. Thanks in anticipation

Here are our TGB manuals, you may find your scooter among them. I looked through a couple of the manuals and they seemed to stress "engine removal" quite a bit, I hope that isn't your only option. Rich

Thanks for the reply. Yes incredibly this seems the only option open. I have never known such a badly designed scoot to try to do basic maintenance on even gettting the plug out is a feat in itself.Great bike to ride but not to work on sorry TGB but the design sucks.
