the little clock on the gauges loses time, does anybody know if it just uses a watch battery? guess I'll find out when I replace the speedo light.

yeah but I didnt unhook the battery it just loses time. i set it yesterday and a few hours later it was again right about where it started. I dont want to buy an instrument panel just to fix the clock. Maybe I'm setting it wrong, its seems pretty easy, but there might be a last step i'm missing.

On my clock when I first got the scoot running I set the clock. Later I found it off count so I set it again. Then I discovered that if I had the two dots between the hour and minutes blinking on and off the clock started to count the time.
Not accurately but not too far off. I just reset my clock yesterday as it was 5 minutes fast. It is just a ball park time thing for me. Probably not a critical thing to worry about, just like the radio thing. Not something I think I need so if it doesn't work right, I don't care.
I did not know that I could get it to jump from date to time and back again and again. .
