Ok, so I disconnected the vacuum line from the intake manifold and squirted some gas in, reconnected the line back and I got it running!!!! I was happy to even hear it going on for about 10 seconds. So I did it again and it ran. So this narrows down my problem, now what's next to check? I'm on a roll so lets not stop now!!!

Yes, I saw that in your video, it doesn't look familiar to me. I can't think of any check valves that look like that. They sometimes use them on vapor canisters but they're the ball type. The Chinese factories are pretty haphazard and mass confusion, they drop things into the scooters all the time that have nothing to do with the bike. I really don't think that has anything to do with your problem but maybe somebody else has some thoughts on this. Guys? Rich

If you haven't replaced the spacer you still have to rule that out. You've narrowed down to a fuel problem but that can be tied in with a vac leak. If you have a vac leak at the manifold it ruins the mixture. Also, a vac problem could be affecting the petcock opening up. Rich

COOL!! So now you know it is NOT getting fuel down the Intake. First thinkg is take the carb off and clean out the PILOT JET AND THE PASSAGE and TINY HOLES by the Butterfly. Take the PILOT JET OUT and SPRAY INTO THE HOLE and Spray should come out by the tiny pilot jet holes by the BUTTERFLY. Then Turn the Fuel Ratio Screw Clockwise until it Stops then Turn it COUNTER CLOCKWISE 2 1/2 turns and give that a shot. Alleyoop

I took apart the carb yesterday and got everything clean. I made sure every port was clear. This is the second time I did it. But I'll wait til I get the new spacer like Bashan said. I get back to you guys when the part comes in from Partsforscooters. Probably Wednesday!

Well I received the new intake manifold, spacer, and gasket for the scoot and installed all of them today. The same thing happens, just starts and then dies! There is plenty of gas in the carb because I took it out again. I'm now gonna turn the fuel ratio screw out 3 turns as suggested by alleyoop and see what happens. This is frustrating being the bike only has 91 miles on it!

When you took the Carb off and Checked by the Butterfly, DID YOU HAVE TO OPEN THE BUTTERFLY a little to SEE THE HOLES or WERE they exposed already.
Just wondering if your IDLE is set to Low and that is why it is NOT STAYING RUNNING. Alleyoop

I have to open the butterfly to see the holes and they are clean. Also, I was going to set the fuel mixture screw, but there is a brass looking plug in there. How can I get this out so I can get to the screw?

Here is one that just drilled it out with a picture to boot. Try turning the IDLE SPEED SCREW 1/8 Clockwise to expose at least one or two of the Pilot jet holes. Your Butterfly may be to closed and it will not idle because it is set to low. Also make sure the Carb is on tight Tighten the clamps holding it to the Manifold as well by the Air Filter. If you can move the Carb rotate it, it is to loose and will suck in air. Alleyoop www.scooterdoc.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=150cc&action=display&thread=4748&page=3

Hang in there, we'll figure it out. If you spray car cleaner down the vac line into the manifold and it starts, it's a fuel problem. So we've made progress, try to keep that in mind. Pull your autochoke and hook the leads up somehow to a 12v battery, the polarity doesn't matter. Carefully watch and measure the plunger, it should extend about 3/16" after a few minutes. If it doesn't it's either not getting juice or it's broke. Try that and check back or let us know if you need help with that test. RichAlley's video:

I will add my 2 cents - check the connections for the wires coming into the CDI. I had all sorts of starting issues, then stalling issues, and it all got fixed when I saw a loose wire.
