I'm not very good with words, so other than when I think an explanation is needed or when requested, Ill let the pictures do the talking. Oh, and ignore the very messy garage. Voltage regulator relocation and pseudo-wire tuck Smoked taillights I wanted very badly to move the seat back to get the true chopper legs-and-arms-outstretched stance. This is a door hinge I riveted to a piece of steel to be able to flip the seat up and work on the engine. At first, I was going to just going to bolt the hinge to the piece of steel, but I ran into 2 problems with that, both being my fault. The first was I cut the two bolt holes on the left too close to the "fold" in the steel, so neither the bolt or the nut would fit. Second, even if I did cut the bolt holes in the right place, the nut or the bolt head wouldn't let the hinge close all the way. D'oh! New seat position mock-up, back ~6-8 inches and up ~2-3 up. Finished product mounted up. Front LED turn signals Next part of the project; mount the back end of the seat to... something. Right now its being held in place by mechanics wire. Next on the mod list: LED taillights, headlight, and possibly a fresh paint job. I should also add that I have a very bad habit of not finishing anything I start, so I can't guarantee that I'll update this thread.
