Trikes are wider in the rear than I thought! It was his fault not mine. I got pulled over to check my scooter! ! This officer was flailing his arms saying i cant ride this thing on the street, after he walked past my license plate and MC inspection sticker in plain view. He let me go, however, he was still standing near the front of my scoot, when he said I could go after he had checked my license, ins etc. My rear wheel ran over his foot! OOOPPPSSSS! It was his fault not mine, and it was on his dash cam I'm sure. Gave me a good laugh...................bout a mile away...............He didnt come after again................. Scootover...............and I mean it.............

Roy,
I got down the road, and had a good laugh myself! Im sure he was ribbed about that when his dashcam was reviewed too. Cant you just hear it........Boss......I need to file a workers comp claim.............I was run over by a trycycle with a motor on it! ;D
Then today, a group of Harley Riders, a rough looking bunch I tell you, was waving me to pull off the road. I though Oh good Lord, Im fixin to get a whooping or something......so I pulled over, they all got off their bikes, and wanted to know what the heck I was riding, and they wanted to take pictures of it! Really nice guys they were a hoot, they said I had bigger 8====D's than they did to be riding that thing at 55+ MPH

I will just tell em I escaped from the old folks home and I have dementia................who is gonna argue with some old guy with dementia.......them little brats gonna get some bad OLD MAN JUJU...........DISRESPECTFULL LITTLE SNITS!

LoL, ya I know when I get older I'm gonna get one of them scooters also. Then I'm gonna upgrade the motors and give it extra wattage. Then it will burn rubber through the malls Hehe. The other day I came out of my local hardware store and there was a gang of harley riders looking at my trike. I walked over to it and asked them if they needed any help. Turns out they were a nice bunch. One of them builds trike rear ends for harley's and started asking me all kinds of questions about the trike.

Great story Scootover. I know cops have a tough job and I know a lot of cops. 99% are great guys doing a dangerous job for not enough pay. But that guy that pulled you over had an attitude and had already made his decisions about you before his car stopped. That kind of stuff really frosts my nads. Thankfully he was man enough to realize he made a mistake and let you go. I guess he figured he earned the sore toe.
In regards to Royldoc's encounter, trikes are really popular around here. I see quite a few scooter trikes, probably more than regular scooters. Motorcycle trikes are really popular too even among the Harley set. Rich

Rich,
I agree with you, they have a tough job. My brother is a 30 year veteran police officer. I respect the job they do, along with firefighters. Not everyone is cut out for that type of job. As an example, most of us would run from the direction of gunfire, police officers run TOWARD IT! Thats the difference, fireman are the same, we run from fires, they run to them.
That officer was having a bad day no doubt, I remained calm, which goes a long way in diffusing what could have been worse i suppose, even though I hadnt done anything wrong. So, to all that read this, the next time you see an officer, fireman, or US service member......thank them for the job they do.........it goes a long way.......they may be saving your arse one day!
