First heres some pictures of the 49cc Scooter before it was wrecked and all the plastics were cracked: I found some pics of my scooter before the wreck. ============================================= couple of questions: My kick start wont work beacuse theres a missing piece. I think this is it: cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Idle-Shaf....9#ht_5037wt_939can anyone confirm that this actually goes on a 50cc gy6? My kick start pieces are mounted on the outer case, not on the inner. :/ I think this is how it goes together: www.scooterpartsmania.com/upload/ebaypics/logo-spm/DiagramPIC/164.jpg=== Is there a chart that shows where everything plugs into the wiring harness? I seem to have 2 extra plugs. :/ === Thanks for all the help in advance.

Great looking scoot you have there, I love the yellow! Here are our kickstarter threads, much of it is duplicitous but I'd plow through both anyway. A few of the guys, especially Sprocket, are very good at the kickstarter assembly process, hopefully they'll chime in here. Rich

Well shes not starting.
New Gas New Carb New auto choke for Carb New Vac/Gas lines New CDI New Spark Wire and Control Jumping With Car Battery.
Ive got both of the handles squeezed. The On button in place. Key turned to the on position. and I'm jumping it right at the starter. I think the starter solenoid may be bad bc it wont jump it the other way 7times out of 10.
I'm getting gas going into the carb. I'm getting a spark. Spark was regaped to correct spot. spark is a year old, but I'm sure it still works. Checked for spark by just unplugging wire and using extra plug I had laying around. My exhaust isnt connected bc i need new bolts. I put my hand over part of it to give it a little back pressure.
Scoot hasnt been started in over a year. I sprayed starter fluid in it as well.
HELP PLZ!

ok lets start by taking the starter fluid out to the trash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
next what color was the spark . suck some gas in the vac line 1/4 to 1/2 oz while cranking if it sputters connect the vac line back FAST . If it wont sputter pull the plug and do a compression test on it .

spark was light yellow. Not usual blue. Guessing spark is bad correct?
Tried sucking thing while u were posting lol and it didnt work. It cranks with strong compression. I'm guessing its the plug. What kind should I get?

I have 2 scooters both 150cc one plug is the CR7HS=7223 and the other one I will have to pull from the scooter I think it might be 7445
On the NGK plug the store has it listed as 7223 on the box it shows both numbers the plug itself is printed cr7hs

Just a quick bit of advice. Hook your exhaust back up before you start it, and of course replace the plug.

For the 125cc and 150cc GY6 engines, the sparkplug is NGK CR7HIX for irridium or CR7HAS for copper Without a resistor...it is C7HAS.. I don't think they make a non-resistor plug in iridium... I'm not certain what the difference is with a CR7HS, but the NGK website says it is a 'special design' firing end www.ngksparkplugs.com/docs/tech/design_symbols_plugs.pdf
