And this is the Linhai horizontal:

Just look at those easily accessible valve adjusters on the CF Moto engine! I'll bet you could do them in much less time than the Linhai.

If the fuses are the usual Chinese glass ones check them with a voltmeter on continuity. I have a friend who went into all kinds of trouble checking his wiring and replacing his fuse holder to fix the bike. The trouble turned out to be a fuse that broke where you couldn't see it in the glass section. He smacked himself in the head after checking the fuse with his volt/ohmmeter.

When folks are discussing one topic and you ask question completely unrelated that is called thread hijacking and is bad form. Instead, you should go to the proper board which would be 250, and click on the new thread icon at the top: . Then give your post a subject name, completely identify your scooter, and ask your question. It will remove a lot of confusion. And by the way, KZ is spot on and you should try that. Rich

Rich Thank you Rich, that is very helpful...I am far from being a mechanic...I know just enough to get me into trouble. But hey...I have managed to fix everything so far on my own...Well with a lot of help from this site. ;D

You have the original? Or is it missing?,,,if it's there pull it off the bike and take the float bowl off,,,you'll probably find its gummed up with old fuel residue,,,clean the jets and you should be good to go,,,make sure you take the jets out of the body to clean them,,,,make sure they are super clean,,,all the gunk left over from evaporated fuel must be gone,,,in the bowl too
